This release was the base for SHMUP the Shock Music Update, which brings the quality sound into the game.

LOVE it! FLAC too, that is niiiice. This is really something special, very very few games that don't have officially released OSTs get this kind of attention. I should probably bring this up on lookingglass but that thread is full of crazy people: I would be incredibly awesomely amazingly thrilled if I could ever possibly get my hands on any audio clips from the game in CD quality sound, be it instructions from Shodan, logs, or just the sound effects. I'm a horder for getting stuff in the highest quality at all possible.

Just wanted to say thanks a million for the 320 CBR rip. Huge tip to the person who ripped all these: Next time you rip something do it in V0 VBR and FLAC. For VBR, the quality difference between 320 CBR and V0 VBR is inaudible no matter what sound equipment you have and it saves tons of space. VBR lowers the bitrate when it's not needed and raises it when it is needed instead of having a constant 320kbps bitrate. FLAC is always nice to have too as certain people prefer it over lossier codecs. Thanks again.
