I have Nvidia 7600GS in my other computer and ATi HD3870 in my other computer and SS2 works perfectly in the HD3870 machine but has severe problems in the 7600GS computer.
The game starts yes, but when I try coop with the machines, it works a while, but when ever the 7600GS computer tries to get the wrench from the dead body the wrench just dissappears and after few minutes the 7600GS computer just disconnects.
NOTE
It doesn't REALLY disconnect! On the 3870 Computers screen he does disconnect, but actually when we go to the 7600GS computer it's still ingame and can see the player of the 3870 computer.
Also, before you say "Don't get the wrench with the 7600GS machine" it's not the wrench obviously, because after awhile, no matter what I do the 7600GS machine disconnects. (On the 3870 screen)
The game works perfectly in sigleplayer on both machines, but whenever coop is tried, those things happen. I've tried every possible solution you people have put on these boards, but nothing seems to work.
I have no mods or third party programs installed, just the original SS2 install.
Also, I've noticed something else too. All TTLG games (mainly thief series) work on the 3870 computer, but not on the 7600GS computer.
Help would be nice.
Also, I have tried the new DirectPlay8 thingy, DDfix, Safe_textures, VERY old drivers and almost every possible thing there was on TTLG forums.
