Topic: Running SS2 in a window? Read 721 times

Just reinstalled the game, with the intention of streaming it live over the internet for some friends.  However, I've run into some problems.  The program I use to stream, Procaster, can't seem to detect SS2 (which is odd, since Procaster is only compatible with directx games, and SS2 uses directx).

So I can't capture it in fullscreen.  I COULD capture it in windowed mode, but I can't get that to work either.  Setting hardware 0 in shock.cfg works until I leave the menu, at which point is says my graphics hardware is unsupported (an outright lie).  I also tried the 3rd-party program D3DWindower, which worked, but gave me an illegal operation when I left the game's menu.

I'd be grateful for any help in getting SS2 to run in a window (or failing that, a program that can capture it live in fullscreen mode).
