movie black screen - tip for fixing

first of all , i would like to thank this site for the great work.

i intalled the game exactly as described here (  p4 2.8  single core  , winxp ) .
the game started ok , first introduction movie was playing  ok , and the trainning mission too .
but on  the selection of one of the three career - game stops and showing the  black screen .
i tried all settings and fixes i found here but nothing helped.
finaly , i tried to run  all  cutscenes movies directly  from game's folder ,  it operated the media player  as  avi files were asosiated to it ,
first movie was  playing ok , but on the second AVi it poped up a  msg telling me  that the codec 3ivx had expired it's 30 days .

that gave some idea  , as all movies in game are . AVI .
i  dis -  associated avi files form  the media player   -  and now  the game all is running well with all cutscens .

i hope that this tip will  help others too.
