Is there any update for animated textures?

I just Started Playing SS2  again. its my 5th time. last one was 2 years ago.

I've installed SS2 SHTUP (Shock Texture Update Project) And started my game and I noticed that the "animated textures" where not high-res. Dont get me wrong there is def. alot of work put into SHTUP and I can see it from the get go.  but I was woundering if there is any pack out there that had them updated? or is any one working on them?

texture I'm talking about are:
fam/hyd_tech/P0020.PCX and up.

SHTUP beta 5 is unfinished as the name suggests. There are updated animations but this one is not among them. If you would like to help by creating these animations yourself you might want to contact ZylonBane (via PM here or at TTLG or at his website). He can give you some tips I guess.



This thread has a Doppelgänger at TTLG which evolved a bit further and in more interesting directions.
