So I recently obtained a 2 - disc copy of SS2. However, the technical faq merely says to copy it. So should i put one folder into the other, so just mix the contents together? I'm not sure what to do.
Help?

are you sure you need both cds for the install? it's quite possible that the second cd just contains some bonus material (demos, videos etc)..

I remember some distribution contained 2 disks for multiplayer. You only need one of course. Still would be interesting what's on the second. But presumably it's exactly the same.

Ok, looking at the contents of the discs more closely they appear to be identical.
This is confusing. O_o
I'll try following the technical FAQ with just the contents of one disc, see what happens.

I told you, they're for multiplayer. You see back in the bad old days you needed to have a disc in the drive to play the game.
So if two people wanted to play, you needed two discs.

That makes sense, though i would have thought they would want you to buy two sets of the game rather than 2-in-1.

I guess at some point the distributors were happy if you bought it at all.
Anyway, there are enough people who would like an SS2 CD these days. You could sell the second one or give it away for free.
I sent my second SS2 package to someone who had sent me an original package of "Space Hulk - Vengeance of the Blood Angels". Never regretted it. :)
