I installed ADoaB recently, and I've noticed some strange things going on with saves. One save I reloaded on the Med/Sci deck, a pistol I had equipped was just gone. And recently, my most recent save was just not there when I started up the game today; causing me to lose about an hour of progress. (I know I should save more often, but that nevertheless shouldn't happen.) Is anyone else experiencing these problems and knows any fixes to it? Any help would be much appreciated.

This is most likely unrelated to ADaoB. I suspect you
still
have your game in Program Files?

No, I moved the game folders elsewhere, and installed your SS2Tool. Which was very helpful, by the way.

adaob is only compatible to adoab saves and vice versa.

That should pose no problem.
It can happen that you lose individual items when a brawn boost implants loses power. The item then will just drop out your inventory. Although there is audio-feedback (Bitching Betty says: "Item dropped"), it's relatively easy to miss, eg in battle.
Losing whole save-games points at another problem, possibly with overzealous security software preventing the save to written to the game folder. Or maybe you have two game installations and accidentally loaded up the wrong one.

So what was the problem? It might help others who run into the same issue, you see.
