Dark shadows

I commonly see people on you tube play this game and I notice that their shadows are far darker than mine, I know how to mess with the config file and mess with bloom but I've tried everything and I can't get my shadows dark like some peoples and a mod solely for 32bitblight baked maps would absolutely be amazing
