I made a profile just so I can ask this question....
Why in the #### is QB's So STUPID!!!!!!

urghhh....
Trying to get them working for the past 6 hours...
Went into the original levels in systemshock 2 and basically copied QB's to the letter and they don't work...

I have tried so many different things to get them working...
Here is how I understand them to be...

A trigger like a trap or something switchlinks to a QB set... That Qb set assigns a value and a QB name...  Then you have a Qb filter waiting with the same name under the script QB val and when the Qb set assigns a value the same as the value on the filter then the filter lets the linked object do its stuff..... Right? O.o    Or what?

I tried everything... EVERYTHING! *bangs my face into a metal wall*
ARGHHHHHH!!!!!!!!

I looked up almost every tutorial on this and im doing everything correctly it seems... Unless there is something someone is not telling me...
Are QB names hidden in some file and you can only use certain names or something and the names im giving my QB's not working because of this????  :[

*sigh*

Ahem...  So before I lose all sanity I have left I would like to ask anyone who is kind enough to tell me what I am doing wrong. Thank you.

OMG nevermind I found out what was wrong! :D
Im so happy now   WHOOOOOOOOOOOOO

I thought the values had to be the same to make the QB filter work... But it turns out the value has to be higher...
I think that's very stupid but ok.. whatever! lol.
YAY!
