Anyone knows how to do it or tips?

I’ve been trying for a week to basically copy the EMP Rifle and change its property's so it shoots a laser instead, for fun and to work out the process of creating a new weapon

All my attempts have failed, usually crashing either when you pick up the item or when you fire it

I don't have the game sys I was working on at the moment. When I attempt again later today I will attach it to this post

Yeah, you basically just have to look at existing weapons and see what they have as a general guideline. In the absence of more information that's about all that can be said. You can set up most properties properly by creating the weapon as a daughter object of an existing weapon and then adding the relevant properties as they are filled in correctly that way and there's less that needs to be entered manually, but things like the links to the projectile which are fired and how fire modes work you have to get by looking at how the original are set up and manually creating equivalents.
