Zamieszczam link do gotowego spolszczenia do System Schock'a Enhanced Edition od GOG. Działa w 100% procentach, tylko trzeba zmienić w opcjach język i dać na najwyższą rozdzielczość lub widescreen.

Super, działa, ale na najwyższej rozdzielczości  (1024/768)mam 4:3, jak zrobić widescreen. Na niższysz rozdzielczościach jest ok ale piksele już widać.

Niestety, nie do końca działa. Powyżej 1024x768 nie ma polskich literek.

Hi, sorry for bad english, but i'm from italy.  I have translated  the file cybstrng.res in italian (with transl.exe by gigasquad) and all is fine, but i don't know how to translate the first view of the interface before start the game and the subtitles in game of the 2 video cutscene (death and end). The first video intro i know that is impossible to show subtitles unless you disactive the sound card. I think that must be open and recompile the file svga.deth and svga.end, but i don't know how to do. If someone can help me to this i'll be very happy to play this game entirely in my native language. Thank you.

Zrobiłem ponownie paczkę spolszczającą ostatnią wersję System Shocka 1 Enhanced Edition.
Działa z wersjami na STEAM i GOG.

O to co dało mi się ustalić System Shock 1 EE wersja Gry 1.2.16 (Windows 7x64 1920x1200) GOG versions

Różnica w nazwach plków:
Classic Edition (CE) ------Enhanced Edition (EE)

Gerstrng.res -> cybstrng.res
Gamescr.res -> gamefont.cp437.res

Pliki są dokładnie takie same - różnią się tylko nazwą.

Jest jeszcze jeden plik w wersji CE - Geralog.res ale nie wiem gdzie go umieścić i jaką powinien mieć nazwę.

Jest jeszcze jedna wersja spolszczenia - portable - ale tam minimalnie różni się plik GERSTRNG.RES i jak go wrzucimy do wersji EE to gra wywala błędy już na początku. Plik GAMESCR.RES jest identyczny.

Co do samej gry.

Jak przeniesie się obydwa pliki to po naciśnięciu START gra się zawiesza.
Żeby grać w polską wersję - trzeba najpierw zacząć na ENGLISH i dopiero jak znajdziemy pistolet i go wybierzemy można "przełączyć" się na PL (do sprawdzenia). Ja gram od 2 poziomu.

Wydaje mi się że problemem są bronie - SPARQ, STANGUN, PIPE (RURA) nawet na późniejszych etapach gry jak wybiorę tą broń gra się zawiesza.

Problemem jest plik gamefont.cp437.res ma inną strukturę niż w wersji CE - jest on odpowiedzialny za polskie znaki

Bez pliku gamefont.cp437 gra działa od początku ok, ale nie ma polskich znaków co niestety przeszkadza bo zamiast ogonków są krzaczki

About what I was able to determine System Shock 1 EE Game version 1.2.16 (Windows 7x64 1920x1200) GOG versions

The difference in the names of the plks:
Classic Edition (CE) ------Enhanced Edition (EE)

Gerstrng.res -> cybstrng.res
Gamescr.res -> gamefont.cp437.res

The files are exactly the same - they only differ in name.

There is one more file in CE version - Geralog.res but I don't know where to put it and what should be its name.

There is another portable version of the package, but the GERSTRNG.RES file is slightly different, and when you put it into the EE version, the game gives errors right at the beginning. The GAMESCR.RES file is identical.

As for the game itself.

When you transfer both files, after pressing START the game crashes.
To play the Polish version - you have to start in ENGLISH and only when you find a gun and choose it, you can "switch" to PL (to check). I play from level 2.

It seems to me that weapons are the problem - SPARQ, STANGUN, PIPE (Pipe) even in the later stages of the game when I choose this weapon the game crashes.

The problem is gamefont.cp437.res file has different structure than in CE version - it is responsible for polish characters

Without the file gamefont.cp437 the game works ok from the beginning, but there are no polish characters, which is unfortunatelly disturbing, because there are no alphabets
