"Some" cybernetic modules. Very informative.

to be fair, whoever is going into that mod is very likely to know exactly what it offers.

The number of cyber modules for Alternate Start depends on the chosen difficulty (Impossible costs are higher, so need more CMs for an equivalent start), and there's no way to dynamically alter the string that the engine looks up for the mission summary screen. You even commented on this very issue on the mod page.

Ah, so the screenshot Tiphares posted wasn't even from his own mod.

It should be possible to display the exact number of cybermods awarded. You'd just need a separate copy of the briefing text for each possible value, then pass the appropriate variant of the base mission to ShockGame.DebriefMode().

Of course not my mod, but rosodude's...  i can't even code a single line

Btw. to still answer that question: it was 45 cybermodules on ''normal'' mode - have no regrets at all whatsoever.. this is my fourth attempt or so to play it from the beginning with that mod & personally for me 'alternate start' is a must;

I played system shock 2 back in 1999 as a demo first, which threw you right into the game (when you woke up from the cryochamber) and i was hooked as hell of course; then some months later a school colleague finally gave me a copy of the full version and i was totally devastated by that counter-immersive '3d character design' level..

in my opinion it's totally bland but also redundant, since in my eyes the section from waking up from cryosleep to opening that airlock via battery cell is already a tutorial & the game itself is already more than enough to create your character..
just simply throw people into the main game

also: i know at least 2 people who attempted to play system shock 2 but quit without even finishing that station ''level''  (!) because they thought the whole game was like this (!!) ....

thats how bad it is..

i am very sorry for being extremely off-topic....
