I have thousands of filters so it's hard to be specific, probably around 100 just for making things wet or "gooey". #12
If you want a really good program for creating (or downloading user created filters) i can highly recommend FilterForge. The animated Biomatter for example was done in Filterforge, my water textures are usually done with it too.

How did you get the on-screen blood splats that spawn when the player is shot? Can you post a DML file if a gamesys change is needed?#13
Vurt, I like the new eggs but noticed some transparency issues on two of the upper flaps of the eggs. Do you see this on your machine also?

The impact blood is already posted above, it doesnt need any .dml.#14
Those type of transparency issues is probably due to some setting in the editor... i'm currently modding Thief2 and i noticed similar problems with trees, it's cut off when there's another transparent object behind it
if i remember correctly dmls can be used to change the property of a model etc, so i will probably need to read up on how to do those..
