yep, mixed them up alright. attaching the correct one. also, in this case, looking ok ingame has priority over realism - the moving beam would require a bunch of more beams to not look like it's hanging in mid air.
665b209bb519d
Didn't came around to testing it, but this one should work and do what you want it to do.
I haven't changed anything on the model besides the moving parts, so be careful of clipping or other uglyness.

works nice, but the wooden beam is now untextured.

yup. off to the restored T2 demo it goes.

Olfred, could you add a bunch of vhots to the attached candles? tip of the wick please. also, CANSTIC2.BIN (the non-EP version) is slightly broken texture problem actually, already fixed.

thanks.

//almost forgot - doorkeep.bin, KeeperDoor (-3345), bad texture mapping in the lower corner under the keyhole (both sides). it's the EP version (attaching).

Don't have thief set up right now, so this goes untested.

Could you picture out what the exact problem is with the door?

665b209bb5976voodoo47

665b209bb59d2
the classic - part of the texture is stretched on the door surface in a bad way (noticeable on the screenshot, just look at the thin tall metal slab with no bolts right under the door vhots). tends to twitch around as you move.

CANDLE2 vhot needs to be moved up a bit, HLAMP even more (old model has no wick, but whatever). also, because of an existing hipoly resource that has been circling around for quite a while now, please make the HLAMP vhot 1 (instead of 0). attaching two more models that have the opposite problem, to make things consistent, their already existing vhot 1 needs to be set to 0.

the rest of the models are looking good.

adding the orig models with no vhots, just in case it would be more practical to add the 0 vhots instead of overwriting the 1 vhots from the vhot_to_0.7z archive.
665b209bb5c64
Changing vhots is pretty easy. The only thing I can't do is create mid numbered vhots. Like creating a vhot 1 without there being a vhot 0.

From what I can see the UV map is being done properly, so it's just the engine again which jerks around.
When I have some more time on hand I can further look into it. But it probably is some tweaking till you are halfway satisfied again.

could have sworn you could do that, as I'm pretty sure you've did the old chandelier last year and it has vhots 1, 2 and 3. ah well, I'll make it work somehow, but that means setting one more vhot 1 to 0.
665b209bb5f38
Maybe at that point the script from nemyax still started at vhot 1 and in the meantime he changed it to start at 0.
But the way it works now is that all the vhots get sorted (by name) and then they get assigned following that order.
So I can't like create a model with only vhot 3 and 7. I would have to create all vhots from 0 to 7.
But I don't assume that this creates any problems, right?

665b209bb6041
not really, as long as you set the vhot of that last model to 0, I'll have a complete set I can work with. the only thing I can't have is an old model and a new model with different vhot numbers.
665b209bb614f
I had some trouble importing this model and had to use the tools from shadowspawn to convert it.
So better do a double check nothing is broken on the model now.

I have added vhot 0 and vhot 1 on this model. Like I did with the other one.

Like I did with the other one.
ah, I see it now. ok, so I've now have everything I need - thanks again.

I was thinking about adding support for custom-numbered vhots right about a week ago. Eerie o.o
This should make it into the next update.

Ah, nice to hear that. This way I can fulfill voodoo47s (model) needs.

Off topic:
There's a whopping bug where branching hierarchies are only partially rendered. I need to fix that, and the vhots will be a small bonus. But I don't know how long this will take =(

665b209bb6b85voodoo47

665b209bb6bd8
my thiefy vhot wishes have already been fulfilled (saving me an incredible amount of work, I might add), and I really don't mind the orig hlamp model having a double vhot, but as I always say, having better functionality and bugfixes can never be a bad thing.

indeed - looks like the candle1 model has been vhotted with the older version of the new exporter, one that will crash the game if the object has the scale prop assigned. can you revhot with the latest one, please? also, old blackjack model is missing the bottom.

small bump into that last candle - not sure how busy you are, but it would be great to have the vhotted model available by the end of the week. I'd like to get the next TFix release out ASAP, as the current one includes the bugged model, and the sooner I can take it down, the better.
665b209bb7267
Oh, I'm deeply sorry for that.
I've meant to tell you that I am busy with other things right now but kinda forgot to do it.
So if anything needs to be done in time put a big important sign on it.

For the candle1, do you need it as vhot1 or vhot0?
As currently I only have one vhot on my blender file and that is a 0. But you mentioned something about it being a 1 ingame, right?

For the BlacJack, can you provide me with the blacjac2.gif, please?

vhot 0 is perfectly fine, tip of the wick please. texture is attached - many thanks as always.
