Looks like I inadvertantly named the texture family 'CCPBlueGreen' 'CCPCCPBlueGreen'; if you've downloaded the textures, just rename that folder. I've fixed the archive, above.

I noticed that some of the texture family names I'd used clashed with names used by SS2 texture families ('Tech'), so I've renamed all the texture families by putting 'CCP' in front of their names.
Archive updated.

Thanks!
I don't see how you can claim copyright on LGS' (or, rather, LGT's) work...
I don't claim a copyright on the actual files, just my compiled archive. It's a bit silly, though, I'll admit.

Here are all the SS1 texture families, resized to 256x256 pixels and sorted into 31 Dark Engine-ready texture families in .gif format with a full.gif

I didn't know what to make of the textures in 'citmap', they look like the textures used on some of the 3D objects in the game, such as crates. I just left them at their normal size and threw them all into a 'citmap' family.

On risk of breaching your copyrights I have deleted 2MB of thumbs.db-files from this archive.
These are hidden system files created by winXP that have no use whatsoever in this ressource.

Readme for SS1 texture families V2:

Copyright Information:
----------

This archive is copyright 2006 Enchantermon
All copyrights of Looking Glass Studios, Origin, Irrational Games and Electronic Arts duly acknowledged.

This is Version 2 of the SS1 textures sorted into families for use in SS2. All of the textures included are the original System Shock textures extracted from the files texture.res and citmat.res. I did not perform the extraction myself; instead, I downloaded ss1tex.zip from The System Shock Hack Project's website (see the "Thanks to" section).
To install, simply extract the zip file into your mod-ready installation of SS2 with "Use Folder Names" enabled.

Update History:
----------

Version 1: released 03-28-06--All of the textures have been sorted into families by deck, then further sorted by color.
Version 1 update: Kolya took the liberty of deleting 2 megs of useless Thumbs.db files from my archive. Thanks, Kolya!
Version 2: released 05-30-06--I was reminded by Nameless_Voice that texture families cannot contain sub-families, so I updated the archive by renaming and moving the texture groups so all of the families are in the root of the FAM directory.

Thanks to:
----------

The System Shock Hack Project (or TSSHP for short, http://tsshp.sourceforge.net/) for providing a download of the extracted SS1 textures.
Kolya for removing 2 MB of useless files from my archive.
Nameless_Voice for reminding me that texture families can't have sub-families.
G'len and JediKorenchkin for being willing to keep CCP going.
TTLG for putting up with me!

These files may be freely distributed as long as the entire archive is kept intact and this readme, in its unaltered form, is included.

[EDIT] I have replaced the original zip file with Kolya's much smaller version. Thanks, Kolya! :thumbwink: [/EDIT]

[EDIT2] Version 2 uploaded! Please download this new version as it reorganizes the texture subgroups. [/EDIT2]
