this isn't anything exclusive to PS2, you got those models on your pc version once you've installed Opposing Force. most are fine, but I didn't like the new snark model too much - fortunately, editing the archive and removing any unwanted model is trivial.

Oh yes, but we were just talking about playing the release games, I suppose.  Not really debating which version of what game is the one you MUST play nowadays, or anything.
