a slightly longer story - this is the exact type of object Dark is not too great at rendering.

That would render correctly if all the involved transparent textures had alpha test enabled.

Even modern engines still use alpha test for complex foliage.

I'm guessing some leafy parts are not z-sorting properly for him, but it's kind of hard to tell. anyway, the model will render properly in vanilla/SCP, but he is running a customized version of Secmod.


//yeah, Secmod has an extra transparency prop on the -62 archetype that's causing this. with the risk of breaking something else, add

What's visible on the plant model is changing depending on the view angle. A classic z-sorting issue.
