Choppy framerate in Cargo bays

So when I got to the Cargo bays yesterday, my FPS was fine... after awhile, though, it's now all choppy and stuttery. This has never happened before. Is it because of all the enemies or corpses or something? What can I do?

EDIT: It's only in the Cargo bays. If I leave them, it's fine.

I imagine tons of slain AIs could slow things down, but that shouldn't happen unless you disable corpse despawn.

particle effects can kill framerate real good though, any such effects that are maybe stuck in some loop maybe?

Rebooting did not work. I don't know if any particle effects are stuck in a loop.

Which mods do you have enabled (if any)? Screenshot of the mod manager will be fine.

very sure they should deactivate, as they are not getting baked into the model in any way.

anyway, does the problem go away if you deactivate all the visual enhancement mods?

In my defense, I was using the poor man as a guinea pig for my inefficient code before actually releasing it.

...remove that attachment for me, would ya? It's unsightly.

probably load the extra scripts as a separate mod next time, will be easier to troubleshoot.
