I think there's a language barrier issue here, or something. I am having trouble understanding what you're saying.

From what I understand, you're NOT able to use the transmitter, until you get all the code pieces, and then it works as it should, which is intended and exactly how this mod is supposed to work. But it displays the code, which it probably shouldn't do because this is the ONE legitimate code guess in the whole game (regardless of what other people might say). This makes me think that from a technical perspective, it's working totally fine.

I already have a feature in place to prevent a keypad from displaying a code in the HUD. I use it on the training wheel keypad to force you to listen to the log or go into your notes, for obvious reasons. I should probably use it here too...

There's no more need to differentiate between SCP4 and SCP5, because I double checked and it works with both SCP4 and SCP5

nope. No need to start a new game.

But the new changes won't affect maps you've already been to. So if you've already visited the map with the transmitter, you won't get the change. But since it's just a minor HUD update, it's not really a big deal.

Basically all I changed was that you don't get the code visible in the HUD when you find all the art pieces, so as to not spoil the code for you. I also made a minor change to not show the cryo exit code to incentivise people doing the audio log tutorial. That's it. No actual keypad functionality was changed.

By the way, this mod prevents players from entering the code for rec1 keypad 270. The code is 12345, which is never given in-game. Seems clear that Irrational intended this code to be guessable.

That sounds particularly silly given that the same deck also has a keypad with the code 11111, or do you think that's also supposed to be guessable?

But there's no point fighting about it. I have uploaded an add-on to the original post that exempts the "guessable" keypads (currently the 12345 code in rec1 and the 00000 code in medsci1), which people can use if they really, really want to. I don't recommend it, though, since the entire purpose of this mod is to prevent cheesing keypads. Pandora's Box is now open, it seems....
