This is just for the hell of it so you can rip me apart for incorrect file format or what have you but on the off chance ppl want this, I can do the rest the same way:

Neat!

Was the ending intentionally left off?

eh?  Sorry... maybe the encode glitched or something.  Oh well it's trivial for me to fix.  I guess the point is to give a sample of quality for sound (5.1) and video (4x scaled and remastered).  If it's something ppl want I'll just do all the cutscenes in full.

Remastering is when you're working from the original raw source media, or have recreated them from scratch.

This is just upscaling.

It does look good, though. A real improvement.

Thank you for always being there to keep me on the straight and narrow

I tried doubling the framerate as well and in some places this looks really nice but at specific times it looks terrible and produces a ghosting effect so I didn't bother with it.  I guess when there aren't enough frames and you have objects passing over each other, this happens.

Another limitation is that some cutscenes like cs1 have a mixture of faces, tech scenes, fonts, landscapes, etc and improving 1 of these comes at the expense of the other so only a mild one-size-fits-all approach doesn't produce immersion-breaking artifacts.  Otherwise the results can be quite stunning for certain snippets.
