SS2 Remake is out on GOG !!! but not really

Just got up (5am UK time) and seen an email from GOG announcing that the SS2 25th Anniversary Remake is out for download...

They're asking £21.59 which is less than I expected.

Look, I hated the idea of Nightdive remaking System Shock 1 (I was so sure they'd dumb it down by adding quest markers on the compass etc), but I finally bought it this January and it's amazing.  Such a respectful remake - they even take some of the quotes from Tuesday Frase's beautiful SS1 manual and record them as Citadel 'ads'.

Anyway, not sure when I'll get around to playing it but this time Nightdive are getting my money on day one (once I've checked the system requirements).

Doh! So excited I came straight here to announce it, but when I visited the page to buy it it's still on pre-order with an expected release date of June 26.

Still, I'm 55 and I can't remember being this excited for years
