Integrates System Shock 2 into the https://archipelago.gg/ multi-game multiplayer randomizer.  All items are in random locations, not just within SS2 but within all games included in the multiworld you set up.  This can be played as a normal randomizer single player, or combined with other games including more SS2 games.  Each run takes about 4-6 hours for me.

All enemies and replicators are also randomized.  Stats and Psi abilities are optionally randomized, meaning you do not spend cyber modules to upgrade your character, instead your upgrades are items that need to be found.  Cyber modules are used to buy locations, a spot where an item is, instead.  Although I designed the randomizer primarily with this being on you are able to turn this off and if you do there are now respec machines near all upgrade terminals which let you refund all cyber modules spent so you can change your build.  OS upgrades are another optional inclusion, all 16 are in the pool of available items and after you get 4 they start to overwrite your oldest OS upgrade.

This mod focuses on creating unique situations mechanically, and forcing you to utilize tools in the game you otherwise would not choose to.  Sometimes you won't even have useful tools for the situation at all and will have to employ unique strategies like cowardice and strategic death.

Difficulty throughout the game has been adjusted heavily.  You start the game much weaker than normal with base stats and potentially no weapon at all if you turn that option on.  Because of this enemies are much weaker early on and easy to run from.  At the ops deck that starts to change and the game ramps difficulty faster than vanilla as you become much stronger quickly.  I would appreciate feedback on if there are parts of the game that consistently are too difficult or too easy.

The latest download and install instructions can be found at https://github.com/Partatio/SS2-Apworld and I will try to keep the files uploaded here up to date as well.  There is a readme with the install instructions in the ss2.apworld file uploaded here.  Tell me if there are any issues, feedback, or questions.  I am also available in the Archipelago discord, search up System Shock 2 in the future-game-design board there.

5/12/2025 - Updated to v0.3.1, recreate your yaml and do not update mid-run.  Changed Science Access Card to be a default starting item and added an option to reduce the amount of locations(items) by about half.
