SS2 - Command Deck softlock (?)

I've been trying to finish SS2 before the remaster comes out next week, because I never really finished it. I have made it to the Command Deck, gotten all the keycards, gone to Ops for the security override, turned over core control to SHODAN at Engineering, and... the shuttle bay door on CD won't open. I reloaded a previous save and did those last two things again - same issue. I checked a walkthrough, and yeah, I did everything right. I think I'm softlocked. How do I get into the shuttle bay?

EDIT: Should probably share my system info and mod list.

Did SHODAN not send the "The shuttles" email when you returned to Command?

this is most likely one of the rare old ones breaking some quest setup - I'm guessing prop remover killing something important that is supposed to open the door. share a save, we can repair it.

or even easier, get the Recycler mod and recycle the doors (they are kind of fiddly to recycle, but once you see the door description in the UI you should be able to do it).

I'm pleased to report that I was able to recycle the door (and maybe also a few other things)... only to discover that I need to go to the Bridge before I can get past the forcefield on the other side of it. Eh, I still consider this a victory.

I probably should update the mod so that recycling doors would not leave the vision blocking plane in the world.

Alan001Pretty sure I went there. SHODAN specifically told me to go to the shuttle bay next.

Anyway, the situation was resolved, and I finished the game last week.
