Hello, all!

I'm currently working on making a custom wallpaper for my android phone with the SS2 interface graphics. In the process, I found myself retracing a lot of the graphics in SVG format.

I don't know if there's any interest in having copies of them around here. Let me know, and I'll upload them as I finish them. I don't know how useful they'd be, though. Obviously, with SVG we can scale them however you want, so higher-res menus and loading screens would be an option, if it's something that could be loaded as a mod.

Getting a higher resolution menu to work in the game is unlikely. But we always welcome fan-made content. If nothing else others might like to put them into their mobile as well. Or maybe I can snap something to use it on the site! :)

Not a problem.

I'll post them for C&C as I go. There's definitely something weird with their typeface, though. Doesn't *quite* match up with the Square721 family.

Finally getting around to posting these...  I only have 4 so far, and there are definitely some tweaks to be made, but here you go :)

They're 640x480, like the originals, but being SVG, there's no issue resizing as needed.

They're free for anyone to use, however they want. Some credit would be nice, of course, but I don't care a whole lot...it's not like they're original works, or anything.

Ha! I thought you'd been talking about the in-game interface before...
These are well done. I had a look at them in a vector program. Obviously not retraced but actually rebuilt. Nice.
I attached the SVGs to your post. Hope that's okay.

I hate the retracing functions....they're generally only good for organic shapes like signatures and some line-art.

Anyhow, these are "manually traced" ;)  I had the original image underneath. They're not perfect, but there were some oddities in the originals that, for all intents and purposes, could be ignored. (Example: they're shifted a half-pixel to the left)  There are also color inconsistencies, and I'm trying to work out a uniform palette.
