Win7 32bit Lags / Ruckler

hi guys,

ss2 runs pretty good on my notebook. the setup was no problem, patching though ss2tool no problem,
adding mods and playing the game is also possible, there are only 1 litte thing:

the game slows down very often for some secs, then it runs normal again

any ideas why that happend?

also die installation verlief ohne probleme unter windows 7 32 bit aufm lappi. gepatcht mim ss2tool und alle gängigen
mods draufgemacht (rebirth,shtup,AdoaB,shmup) >> spiel läuft eigentlich super.

nur habe ich keine videos (wenn ich den codex installiere (indeo 5.1) stürzt ss2 immer mit fehlermeldung ab, deswegen
hab ich einfach die dll der videos umgeschrieben - jetzt kommen halt keine videos mehr, stürzt aber auch nix mehr ab.
damit kann ich leben, sind ja nur die 3 videos, oder?

das hauptproblem ist, dass das spiel ruckelt. nicht durchgehend, sondern immer nur wenn man in nen neuen gang oder raum
kommt oder wenn man sich schnell umdreht. ansonsten läuft es flüssig.

kennt jemand das problem? kann das iwie am sound oder sowas liegen?
an der hardware kanns ja nicht liegen, oder etwa doch? ggf runtertakten?

Eventuell ist dein Onboard-Grafik Chip ein bißchen überfordert. Also eher hochtakten, andere Programme schließen, das Übliche.

In der ddfix.ini hast du nichts geändert, oder?

onboard chip is ne geforce go6600 PCI-E, glaub daran liegt es nicht... der lappi is ca 5 jahre alt, glaub an der hardware
dürfte es nicht liegen... ich hab hier sogar deadspace2 auf low details mehr oder weniger flüssig durchgespielt...

hab bis jetzt in keiner config rumgefummelt

Hast du die neueste SS2Tool Version verwendet (3.5)?

there is a good chance that the 6600 has only 64bit memory bus, and (much) lower clocks. if you are running adaob+rebirth, do not be surprised if the game slows down at certain spots. I'm usually running ss2 on my older machine-it has a 2.2GHz athlon64 cpu, 2GB of memory, and a radeon x1950pro turbo-and even I get small slowdowns at certain places (the new 3d annelid goo seems to be especially taxing). I would not consider this as an issue-unless it happens on an unmodified game as well.

jap habe ich gemacht. bin dem leitfaden von marvin im gamestarforum gefolgt.

thanks a lot.

my main machines videocard broke last week so i have to use my notebook. if the new one arrives some day (waiting for it since a couple of days now) i will check it on the desktop pc. (has a little bit more hardwarepower than the notebook )

trying also to deactivate rebirth on this machine...for some additional performance...reporting later

still having the same lags... even if i only use one mod at a time   

ruckelt immer noch... auch wenn ich nur ein addon auf einmal benutze
