Xenoneo, they will all be released eventually, i'm basicly just waiting for something else to be completed and then i'll release them, can't go into specifics what that is.

I'm currently back to modding Fallout New Vegas while things, hopefully, progresses.

Alright then.
I'll just keep an eye on your youtube channel.
I haven't played New Vegas yet, been saving for all the expansions before I start.
Looks like I'll have some awesome Vert mods in there as well.  :awesome:

maybe you can give me a quick install description for your new water textures...maybe I did something wrong!
665b8e9a1ecb8
It's not possible to install it wrong i believe. didnt it come with a readme? should be just drag/drop to your shock folder if i remember correctly.

@ ZylonBane

i know that...

it looks like that i´m alone with my problem!

vurt said it´s a bug...!? ^^

been a while since i saw SS2, maybe it looks like that on my install too, can't remember now. anyways, it's probably more realistic if its slow than if its too fast, unless there's a storm going on inside the ship, which is doubtful ;)

It's not a bug. It's the default animation rate for textures.

damn.. just notoced this beatiful thread.. and i'm sad
cause i tried get to work hi-res sky and water and i failed
i've read the whole thread and found that i use old ddfix - then i updated it to the last 1.5.11 but now the game just crash when loading screen dissapears and actual game starts - just usual crap about has stopped working
damn.. it seems i must to forgot to see skyboxes..
what makes me sad more is that i don't use mod manager therefore there is not any conflicts yep i use shtup and rebirth but not adaob or smth like that - just nodified shock2.gam for ejecting brass. and it seems this is a tech problem

Try reinstalling with the latest SS2Tool, it contains the latest DDFix version.

no luck. still the same. with new ddfix (1.5) i don't even get fast start of the game - i need to make a few clicks for launch it and after all - crash after loading screen
665b8e9a1f6cc

The default texture animation rate is really quite awful-- around 5 FPS, if memory serves. Tolerable for computer screens, but completely inadequate for creating the illusion of continuous motion. An ideal water animation, IMHO, would be one with both a higher frame rate (at least 20 FPS I'd guess), and more subtle water motion. But as noted earlier, a higher animation rate isn't possible without a modified gamesys.

I do like the water animation you've created a lot more than the one I made for SHTUP. The SHTUP water was an attempt to reproduce the sine-wave water animation used by the early Quake engines. But Quake used this technique to allow a single texture to represent animated water, while I was achieving the same hackish effect with 20 unique textures, which in retrospect was a poor application of those resources.  :(

Yeah I did something similar for the textures on my worm guns.  It looked "ok" but only because everything else in the game normally looks pretty crude by comparison.

..and Vurt brings his magic to SS2!  Looks good.

Hi hey vurt first off I love all your work

anyways there's a slight issue with you sky re placer the textures seem to get applied to  the actual interiors in the rooms, which while interesting is  in need of being fixed.

awesome water by the way ;)
665b8e9a2030d
Yeah that happened to me once too, it's not something i can fix, it has to do with ddfix so you'll have to wait for a new version that hopefully fixes that.

could need some updating on the downloadable files. I think I've found newer versions of your Fauna mod on another thread of yours.
