SS2: any way to increase HUD size?

hi guys.  just found this great forum and has helped me renew my love for this great game.  any way to increase the text or the HUD size to help me play while sitting on couch?  any help greatly appreciated.

all you can do is lower your resolution.

glum, this HUD behaviour (shrinking with higher resolution) is an inherent limitation of the game and many of us don't like it but unfortunately nobody's figured out how to fix it either... if it's even possible.  I'm afraid we're all stuck with it.  I've played it at 800x600 in the past and put up with the low res just to offset this drawback.  Try forcing AA, maybe that will help make the low res less noticeable.

Seems like a massive mod was released recent, and among other things it fixes the HUD issue. Unfortnately it doesnt work for me at the moment, but the mod is nice anyway.

This thread is 6 months old. The mod you point at is well known around here and is included in SS2Tool.
