Hi all,

I am very happy to see that the community of System Shock is still alive. I rediscover the SShock2 game last month and I have lot of fun with it

I also found this site with lots of marvelous mods based on very good ideas  :)

And now, of course, I just want to make my mod. I saw that many mods had to modify the sshock2.gam file to change some rules of the game. Then I red lots of thing about modding in this site but I did not find something about sshock2.gam editing. I am sure that I missed some important information ... So, my questions are simple :

 - How to modify sshock2.gam file ?
 - In particular, with which tools ?
 - Can you give me the link where the information is ?

I am sure that it is easy to reply, isn't it ?

Sincerely yours, Mausus Atlas.

Please help :p

Hit F5 to see the object hierarchy. There you can edit the objects you wish.

All is right. Now, I know how to change almost game parameters. And this SShockToolkit makes the changes very easy : It is a very good one 8)

But there is one thing again I did not see : For example, how to multiply the damage made by the shotgun with RiffleSlugs by 2/3 for all the monsters

I am sure you have the solution

I think I found the answer. I used :

 - menu "Editor/Object Hierarchy".
 - select "Projectile/Shotgun projectiles".
 - edit "Rifle slugs".
 - edit "Sources : standard impact".
 - modify "intensity" value.

Save the SShock2.gam and play to see the effect ...

I think it exists an easier way to do it. If I will found anything else better, I will add it here

The Stim sources are the damage intensities for the projectiles, so you're in the right place.
