Dialogue static in SS2

2nd trouble I've ran into so far.

All my dialogue seems like it has radio static on it, for example the first ghost you see, I can't make out a word he is saying just a lot of static.

This could be due to the amount of mods I loaded on afterwards, but the sound doesn't seem right, certain things are much louder than they should be, even without modding.

Also no music at all.

Fixed this by installing the game from CD then using SSTool.
