Hi, can someone explain me why there are no any brushes in original missions? Thow I can see location portalising make level empty.
I'm using toolkit with latest update from this forum, i.e. version 2.42. Thanks for answears.

PS Is't possible to auto-hide brushes wireframes that are unvisible or too far, without using areas?

Firstly to edit the original maps you need these

Thanks, I already see this. My question was how to make striped levels for my own? And how they made them unstriped back?

there is no reason to strip your levels. It was done by the original developers to save space on a CD ROM. Apart from that it only has downsides. And even the space gained is negligible nowadays.
You cannot make a stripped level unstripped.

But size of striped levels and unstriped don't have big difference.
Do you sure that striped levels don't work faster?

Even if they load a bit faster (not sure about that) this wouldn't matter much with today's machines. And that tiny advantage is nullified by the huge disadvantage of never being able to edit those missions again.
Finally it is common practice and considered courteous not to strip missions and hence allow others to look at your missions to see how you build something, so others may learn from it.

And the word is "stripped", not "striped". No zebras were harmed in the creation of these levels.
