game won't start

PLEASE HELP, I have recently attempted to install SHTUP, yet the game didn't start up.  So I removed all the SHTUP files from my directory, yet my game STILL doesn't start!!!

Help me!!!

"didn't start" is not all that helpful. does it crash? do you have some sort of error message? tried verifying your cache? post your shock2.log (in your SS2 folder).
