I just attempted to run System Shock 2 on my Win 7 (64-bit) OS after following the SS2Tool v.5.1 CD patch instructions.  The cut-scenes load, followed by the menu screen just fine; I start a new game (another cut-scene loads fine).

Then when I'm dropped off at the recruitment center to start the game, I can only see about a quarter-inch rectangular bit of the video in the upper left corner (and not even the far left, just a random spot along the top of the screen near the left side) - the rest of the full-screen output is black.  I can still move around (and judging by the small window of vision I do have, jump, crouch, etc.) and I am prompted to get into the grav-shaft (so that part is working too).  Keep in mind that I am a "mod noob" when it comes to getting ANY of my old games to work on Win 7, so use small words if I have to manipulate any of the game files ^_^.

Any help would be appreciated!

re-run the tool, and disable multisampling in the options. and bloom as well while at it, your gpu won't be able to handle it anyway.

Thanks!  That worked like a charm, and I've finally got my old SS2 up!
