How do I use dgvesa in Windows 7 32-bit?

It seems that when I try to use dgvesa on SSP it fails because an error with some gibberish text just pops up. And when I manually try to load it, it doesn't find the glide2x.dll file even though it's in THE SAME DIRECTORY. So how do I use it?

Dgvesa relied on the virtual dos machine that windows xp had (NTVDM). It will never work in windows 7. You will have to use the DOSBox emulation.
