no, 400 updates world textures, highly recommended for anyone with a non-intel gpu.

it's intentional, for the moment - "lets set the priorities up so most people would NOT end up using biomatter by mistake".

anyway, the important parts are; SCP at the bottom, Flora above SHTUP, Tacticool above fixed objects, fixed objects below SHTUP. the rest shouldn't matter all that much.

Also when I apply SCP_beta2 the game displays a persistent O2 (Oxygen) meter two thirds down on left of screen, even with no other Mod`s applied

For the second time, SHTUP-ND beta 1 includes Fixed Objects 10. It's redundant to your install.

for now - but objects do tend to be updated more often than SHTUP, so better safe than sorry.

Sure, this is with only SCP_beta2 in the DataPermMods folder, game version is latest (2.4.4) i doubt has any impact equally this is an OS X box, on 10.10.5 using a Wine Wrapper, was originally from GOG.

has the install been patched with SS2tool? the o2 meter is an addition, but should only pop up when underwater.

No, pulled the update off link on GOG`s forum now defunct. think you were on that one. Just unpacked SCP_beta2 and copied to DataPermMods. First thought the Mod sequence was wrong hence the first question, however with only  SCP_beta2 in DataPermMods the O2 meter is visible instantly the game starts (new game)

ok, so you are trying to create a manual install by copying mods into DataPermMods one after another? that will NOT work.

anyway, that thing with the O2 meter shouldn't be happening, I will try to recreate your install and see whether I can replicate.

Yes to the posted link. I followed a guide for the Mods and for the most part they seemed to work, however understanding the order and merging the folders on OS X can be problematic. Certainly the game is night & day over GOG`s release, with each Mod applied a difference can be seen, although some can be difficult to discriminate, with no baseline. I could probably pull some screen shots off one of my other Mac`s if it`s of interest. Game looks and plays great, equally maybe it could be better again with the inclusion SS2Tool.

If that is the case I will need to figure out how to install the SS2Tool. I should be able to add it into the Wine Wrapper, equally last time I tried it did not function correctly and as the game was looking & playing so well I just left it be. As suggested I may try on a Windows box and pull the files over to the Mac, it may work. I have certainly done worse...

If you just add SCP_beta2 an empty DataPermMods folder, should be the same set up; fullscreen @ 1440x900 32 colour depth, can't think of anything else relevant.

already tried it, and it works properly under windows. as for installing multiple mods properly without the tool, you can always grab the modmanager and use it to load mods.

anyway, go to the engineering SCP beta2 topic, we'll continue there.

Ok have posted there for clarity, Am looking at SS2Tool now and see if I can get it running in the Wine Wrapper. Think the only way is to rip out the game folder and repackage under Windows 7, then add SS2Tool this may work, equally it takes time.

I have a copy of SS2 that is working under OS X 10.11.1 which is very different, so I will they this as the Wine Wrapper & Engine are different and is W7

as mentioned, pretty sure SS2tool will not solve your problem, but you can try anyway.
