Anyway to make it possible to dual wield weapons.

Like for example the psyamp in the left and a one handed weapon like the pistol, wrench, laser rapier or energy pistol in the other?

No need to feel like an idiot. It's just that a lot of people on here were disappointed in the promises of Bioshock, the final result, and the overly positive reaction to it by players and "professional press".
So anything which would make System Shock (2) be more like Bioshock is like saying to cut of the boobs from a woman because it makes her better.

Besides this, I don't think this is possible as to my knowledge there is no way of implementing new input controls to the game.
