Better weapon models mod for ss1?

So I played ss2 and was hooked. Now I'm looking back to play the first game,  but one thing that bugs more than it probably should, is that every single gun in the game is just a puny little  choad thumb that sticks out from the bottom of the screen. Is there a mod, or would someone please make a mod that replaces all of the weapon models with proper arms/hands and an actual visual representation of the guns. I just want  to be able to play ss1 combat while firing the guns like its doom. Is that too much to ask? Is it even possible or worth the effort it would take? Of any mod out there, I feel this would be large improvement to the lackluster combat. Actually being able to see the weapon you're using does wonders for immersion.

well it's not doom and if that is your expectation you're going to be disappointed anyway, weapon mods or not.
to answer the question though, no such mods exist to my knowledge. maybe you should wait for the reboot.

On the bright side, I now have the expression "choad thumb" to never, ever use.
