How to install System Shock 2 on Windows 11

I was referenced to systemshock.org for the SS2Tool when I could not install the game on Windows 11 from the original CD. The installer panel opens, but when I click on "Install", nothing happens except the open file security warning is displayed for confirmation.
Thus I do not have a folder with shock2.exe or ss2.exe, as specified when I run the tool.
How do I resolve this?

Pat StewartSorry, I just now found how to install from the CD. I am running SS2Tool now.

I don't see how to edit or delete my original post.

you cannot when posting as a guest. anyway yeah, just copy the folder from the cd and patch it with the tool, that should do the trick.
