Looks pretty bad graphically for a ue5 game tbh. it can do pretty much unlimited amounts of polys (which is its most impressive feature by far) and they chose a desert with noting in it / or fog that hides all the backdrops.. ok.

For me, atmopshere trumps poly count. Doesn't look too shabby either.

for me too, i still play games like system shock 2.. didn't really see anything above average when it came to that.
Though good graphics can certainly help a ton with atmosphere too, it's what drove me to mod old games.

seen so many great looking demos on UE5, some are extremely hard to distinguish from real-life footage, super realistic lighting etc.

It's almost as if this is an AA game that they intentionally set in an environment that wouldn't require a large amount of props and level design.
