I've got this error now. Fresh install (on WINE). If I rename or delete cam.cfg I get the same message so is it really a problem with the resolution?

EDIT: I can't delete this message. My problem has nothing to do with the resolution in cam.cfg. I get the message because the game can't find cam.cfg. If I run it from the directory I get huge WINE errors. Oh well.

I would try fully patching the game with ss2tool on a windows machine and then copying the install to the linux machine. that should make sure all the filepaths are correct.

Uh, not sure how this got here. I didn't need a thread created for it. I can't be bothered trying to figure out WINE issues; I only installed it for a quick nostalgia hit. Thanks anyway.

Also, I don't have a Windows machine. Not even a VM.

If you still have the job you used to do, I'm sure you have access to a windows machine.

And voodoo probably split this thread off from wherever you appended it because we have a "one computer per thread" rule in this specific board.
