32 bits depth ...

Hi all,

Yesterday, I tried many way to force System Shock2 to use 32 bits depth mode using cfg files modifications, but I failed. I have a NVidia card, and I saw that many problems appears with these cards, in particular about video quality. I am using Sshock2Fixed.exe and the quality is better now but not 32 bits depth. Is someone know how to tweak this ?

That's easy to answer, because it's impossible.
The dark engine on which SS2 runs doesn't support 32bit rendering.

Otherwise, sorry for my poor english but I do not understand what you mean by "that does not contain an upload" in a thread ? I posted this message in "SShock2 threads" because it is a question about the SShock2 game ... What is it wrong in this ?

From the Welcome to SBF thread (click the SBF logo at the top or click the HELP button)

In most of SBF's forums posting a new topic is only allowed in conjunction with uploading a modification, fanmission or whatever that forum is being used for (Upload Guide). The big exception is General Discussion where you can post (almost) anything.

So basically General Discussion is for discussions and questions. The rest is for downloads and discussing these downloads.

As for 16bit here's a similar thread from ttlg.
