Will these new keybinds be in SSTool 4.9?

I didn't take working key bind sets away from you, even though some people here act like it. I took them out because they didn't work anymore, as I said and as you noticed, jammonstrald. I provided you with a working set, which you apparently don't like. Oh well.

Interesting. I simply copied over the original BND files and I can load them in the game just fine. Are they incompatible specifically with SS2Tool or NewDark 2.4 in general?

No, but in 5.0.

@shredhead: They are incompatible with NewDark 2.4. You probably can load them but try playing with them.

Well that's interesting. The GOG version is based on NewDark 2.4, right?

I kid you not, I simply copied the Binds folder from the original SHOCK folder, loaded Standard FPS in the game and it works flawlessly. Yes, even in gameplay. In fact, I sent the BND files to my bro and they worked fine for him as well.

Thanks for the update, Koyla. I just re-installed SS2 after the GOG release, set up SS2Tool plus some graphics mods, and was wondering why the binds were so different. I had to go through and change every button.

I think a lot of people are playing System Shock 2 for the first time now, and many of them could end up installing a few mods from here to get a more "up-to-date" experience, and could be thrown off by the strange binds (especially since it is hard to actually *unbind* a key, and the alt=back threw me off).

There is no "top" to the World-Wide Web. You can look at it from many points of view. If you have no other bias, here are some ways of looking for information.
