I know the multiplayer is buggy, but has anyone found a way to fix this?

When hopping into multiplayer, It's kind of bipolar. You can make it through ALL of the game, but sometimes wheny ou enter a door, it freezes. Until someone leaves the game. I don't know if it's a problem with the game or if i was a fool for getting the steam version, but if there's a mod fix or a patch for it, please let me know.

Save before bulkheads. There is no fix for this.
