Don't have that CD anymore unfortunately. Just checked the German demo and the files are not in there.

thanks - the person doing the DE version of the main menu anim text did a poor job anyway, so I've ended up recreating all of the frames using a higher res resource. also recreated the DE version of NETMAIN.PCX, which didn't exist until now (basically confirming my theory that a proper DE 2.3 patch was never released).

anyway, I'm thinking this is something you may want to include in one of your DE patches, so attaching.

Thanks! Yeah, I could add that to the SCP patch (and will, if this is a file that another mod overrides), but being an original game resource, it should probably (also) go into Kolya's translation "mod".

I updated the German translation mod of SS2Tool. It will work for new game installs automatically.
For existing games one would have to delete the old translation in DMM and select Perfect Mode in SS2Tool.
Considering the severity of this fix I don't think that's warranted.
