using SoH.7z (assuming this is the full package), dml code converted to an actual gamesys.dml and verified loading, but I don't see any parts move on the shotgun or rifle.

also shotgun broken vhots, bad bad bad, will mess up muzzle flashes everywhere.


100% dislike of the twin handed laspistol model, looks just weird (and needs an alternate model to be SCP and Secmod compatible, will take care of that in a bit).

pistol looks deformed (squashed from right to left?), and the hands look like the surface was not processed properly, I can see the polys/vertices.

the upper hand holding the fusion cannon looks like.. uhh.. male reproductive organ. lets not do that, ok?

hand placement on emp rifle all weird, makes the rifle look short and stubby.

Vhots are an easy fix in Blender I'm just a lazy bastard. And ya I took some liberties with the energy pistol, plus I've never done an energy playthrough

Why am I even working on this, this game is literally older than me. This mod exists because I got super high and had some "I MUST MOD SS2 REVELATION" I'm supposed to be like, snorting cocaine and playing fortnite or something, but I'm just gettig stoned and playing Mirror's Edge for 100th time. sarge945Might as well, judging from the NDS ss2-general Discord chat yesterday, it sounds like they're gonna be adding two handed guns in response to the demand, so no point in working on it anymore.

Should that be the case I'll fix the bugs and finish the vanilla guns and that'll be the end.

My personal request, if you see fit to put work towards it, is a vanilla weapon models upgrade without left hands that does away with the polygon culling to look good at higher FOVs. The Shotgun, Assault Rifle, and the Grenade Launcher all lack right hand models, grips, and triggers due to the culling, and if you look closely you can kinda tell that e.g. the Pistol doesn't have a right side at all.

The ADaOB mod actually contains a version of the vanilla Pistol model with the slide joint reversed so that's already taken care of, but it would also be cool to have a reciprocating bolt handle for the vanilla Assault Rifle model as well.

Ideally, these are nice improvements to have as a baseline, and you can then provide a version of the model pack with and without the left hands. Of course, it's up to you how you want to do it as it's your mod project.
