I could see how they could follow you for a few seconds then patrol, then return to you etc, also that would be realistic, kinda like they are scouting the area to make sure its safe.

Like i said before, what you have already done is more then i originally thought possible, these new additions are cool extras :) and i appreciate you continuing to support it.

Decide which is better: patrol, follor, or both. The version with the gun will have to wait a bit more!

Hi,

The above version has a bug, they spawn looking like hybrids and clip through the floor, it could be on my end, not sure.

The version with the gun will have to wait a bit more!

using an old save is usually a bad idea for gamesys mods. restart the game and see whether that helps.

morgwin: I loaded the medsci1 from SCP you had sent me, spawned some marines and they seemed ok. But anything can go wrong, pay attention that you load the marine mod last, so it has top priority.

Fixed the above issue, it was my load order as xdiesp suggested.

Marines Mod Follow & Patrol SCP
I noticed they seem to patrol but not follow, they stand in one place after they finished their routine.

I tested the mod and it should work, but problems are always possible because A) certain areas cannot be patrolled and B) something might be blocking the sound of your steps, so the marines cannot follow it. I adjusted the mod, so that the Marine patrols and the MarineF follows. We'll see to spawn them separately, with the portable QBR machine later.

Thanks for the new update, if i mention issues that arnt easily (if at all) fixable, let me know, because i don't know of the current limitations :).

Morgwin: I'm a bit taken with my other project at the moment, but I'm still going to make this. To save some time, are you be able to reskin that orange gun? I was thinking of remaking the glass green, and the body white with the red cross.

Here is the model and the texture: to see them in action, you can spawn a "stasis field generator" just like you would with a marine.

I find it kind of interesting that according to the backstory this weapon used to be used in a medical context to immobilize patients undergoing surgery.  Funny I should finally see what it looks like as a medical device.

I think the red cross should be placed inside the warning sign. :thumb: Check the icons too, but these only need the recoloring. They're too little for the red cross...

The "world model" is perfect, as to say the weapon on the ground. How does it look, when you pick it up and use it? Give yourself modules with the cheat "add_pool 999" and specialize in heavy weapons to be able and equp it.

As for the icon, the "Jam" word has to remain orange because the message is the same for all weapons. If you've had enough skinning for today, I'll do it myself don't worry! :D However in the icon, see the darker gray spots at the bottom of the "disc"? Those should be green.

Do you like that orange piece, or is it impossible to recolor? Maybe it would be better yellow like the whire, or white like the rest. When you're absolutely sure it's final, upload the files!

I changed the orange part as suggested and just noticed a see through patch on the weapon, but all i have changed is the texture.
